Earthquake of 4.2 magnitude hits Myanmar

A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar today at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the National Center for Seismology. A day earlier, a 4.5-magnitude quake had also hit the region. These tremors follow major earthquakes of 7.7 and 6.4 magnitude that struck central Myanmar on March 28, leaving several people homeless. The WHO has warned of rising health threats in the affected areas, including TB, HIV, and waterborne diseases.
