India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable Highlights Strengthening of Strategic Partnership

The 3rd round of India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable was held in New Delhi today. Union Ministers Dr. S. Jaishankar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Piyush Goyal attended the roundtable. The Ministers from Singapore who participated included Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Gan Kim Yong and Foreign Affairs Minister, Josephine Teo.

In a social media post, Dr Jaishankar thanked them for their commitment to strengthening India-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.  He said the India Singapore Ministerial Roundtable had a productive interaction with the India Singapore Business Roundtable ISBR delegation. He added that synergy between government and industry is key to the unlocking next phase of India-Singapore ties.

External Affairs Ministry said that the Ministerial Roundtable is a unique mechanism for setting a new agenda for India-Singapore cooperation. India and Singapore share a Comprehensive Strategic partnership and the 3rd round of Ministerial Roundtable will identify avenues to further broaden and deepen our bilateral relations.
