The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi today. Similar weather conditions are expected over Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, West Bengal, Sikkim and West Madhya Pradesh during the day.
According to IMD, isolated to scattered rainfall is expected over coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, while coastal parts of Karnataka is likely to receive fairly widespread to widespread rain.
