For the grand pre-release event of Ranabaali, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda looked perfectly in sync, thanks to their couture picks. Rashmika turned to an ivory saree and a vivid red blouse, while Vijay wore a custom ensemble by Anamika Khanna in white.
Rashmika opted for an ivory saree by designer Mrunalini Rao, teamed with a fitted, full-sleeved red blouse. The contrast between the pale drape and the saturated red brought definition to the look, made even better by the saree’s embroidered border, which featured intricate gold-toned embellishment, with a decorative finish along the pallu and hem. The red blouse had a high neckline and full sleeves, with ornate embroidery across the shoulders and upper bodice. The red also framed the ivory saree rather than competing with it, giving the ensemble a clear focal point.Rashmika kept her jewellery close to the neckline with a choker-style necklace and matching earrings. Her hair was pulled back into a neat bun, while her makeup featured defined eyes, a soft blush and a natural pink lip.Her husband and co-star Vijay Deverakonda complemented her in an all-white custom ensemble by Anamika Khanna for the Ranabaali promotions. The look paired a structured, sleeveless jacket layered over a white kurta with a fluid, dhoti-inspired lower silhouette. The jacket was the defining piece. Its clean front, curved seam detailing and fitted shape gave the outfit a tailored quality, while gold-toned ornamental fastenings at the waist introduced a restrained decorative accent.
