Priyanka Chopra Jonas made a statement on the MET Gala blue carpet in a one of a kind statement silhouette envisioned by Balmain. Priyanka who has a long standing relationship with the luxury couture brand, graced the iconic Metropolitan Museum of Art along with her husband, singer Nick Jonas.
Going with the dress code ‘Tailored For You’, which is a nod to the exhibition’s theme Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Priyanka’s white ensemble featuring a tailored to perfection blazer paired with matching sleeveless dress and a detachable train attached from the waist below.The highlight of Priyanka’s stylish look was the black polka dots that stood out in this couture piece. Priyanka completed her red carpet look with a black hat that exuded vintage sophistication with a modern charm.
When asked what Priyanka looks forward to at the MET Gala every year, to which Priyanka expressed that she looks forward to people’s interpretation. “I really look forward to people’s interpretation. It is so interesting. And this year’s theme I was so excited about because of the excellence of it, the tailoring of it. To me it is an expression of what fashion has been and there’s such a power to it. So I was really excited to see. And also to meet old friends and colleagues. We don’t end up meeting and everyone’s lives are busy. That is the best part,” shares Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
