Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita today called on Vietnam’s Prime Minister Le Minh Hung in Ha Noi. In a social media post, Mr Margherita said that during the meeting, the leaders recalled the successful State Visit of General Secretary and President of Vietnam, To Lam, to India and the elevation of India-Vietnam ties to an Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
PM Hung conveyed greetings to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and congratulated India on the 80th anniversary of its Independence Day as well as on its impressive socio-economic and diplomatic achievements. Mr Margherita thanked the Vietnamese Prime Minister for his guidance on translating high-level commitments into tangible outcomes.
