The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange colour warning for heavy rainfall accompanied by thundersqualls for Coastal Andhra Pradesh today. According to the IMD, heavy rainfall is also expected over Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh during the day.
Similar weather conditions are expected over Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal and parts of North East India. The Met Department predicted thunderstorm and lightning conditions over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Vidarbha, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow.
