The Ramayana team brought the music to Chennai on October 21, with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and composer AR Rahman attending a grand event at the Chennai Trade Centre. Ranbir showed up in a black embroidered bandhgala that brought a touch of traditional elegance to his formalwear, while Sai Pallavi picked a navy blue Banarasi silk saree with intricate zari work. There was a memorable moment off the fashion front, too: Ranbir won loud cheers from the crowd after speaking in Tamil.Ranbir Kapoor made a case for the bandhgala in a black jacket covered in intricate geometric embroidery. He finished with a floral brooch on the chest and a watch at the wrist, letting the jacket’s craftsmanship do most of the talking.
