The BLF affirms its continued resistance and takes responsibility for a series of attacks around Balochistan.

An armed blockade on the Coastal Highway and attacks against Pakistani military and construction equipment across Balochistan are among the recent incidents that the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for.

In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch detailed the group’s actions, beginning with a blockade on the Coastal Highway between Pasni and Ormara at Buzi on the night of March 3–4. The blockade halted traffic for approximately three hours, during which BLF fighters conducted vehicle searches, set a police checkpoint on fire, and confiscated weapons from a police vehicle before setting it ablaze. The group stated that passengers from Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were checked for links to military or intelligence agencies and were allowed to proceed unharmed if no connections were found.

In the same statement, the BLF claimed to have torched several LPG transport vehicles en route to Punjab and other regions. Despite these actions, the BLF emphasized that they released the detained police officers “out of humanity and respect for their Baloch identity.”

The group also claimed responsibility for two attacks on March 5 in Kolwah and Buleda. In Kolwah, BLF fighters launched a two-pronged assault on a Pakistani military camp in the Madag Kalat area, reportedly causing significant casualties and material losses to the security forces. Later the same day, BLF fighters targeted construction machinery in Buleda Gali, Kech, destroying a bulldozer and a boring machine.

These operations, according to the BLF, are part of its ongoing resistance against Pakistani forces. The group called on Baloch youth to unite in their fight for independence, urging them to join the “Baloch freedom movement” and continue the struggle for their rights.
