Amarnath Pilgrimage Back on Track as 6,000+ Devotees Depart from Jammu

The Amarnath Yatra resumed on 25 July after being suspended for six days due to adverse weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir.

With the weather improving, authorities allowed the pilgrimage to restart, and over 6,000 pilgrims departed from the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu in escorted convoys towards the holy cave shrine.

The resumption has brought relief to thousands of devotees who had been waiting for the pilgrimage to restart. Authorities continue to monitor weather conditions and have urged pilgrims to follow all safety advisories during the yatra.
