BSNL has extended its “Freedom Plan” for 15 days. This plan was launched on August 1 for just Rs 1, in which new customers are being given free 4G mobile services for 30 days. This offer, which was earlier till August 31, 2025, will now be available till September 15, 2025.
The Ministry of Communications issued a statement on Monday informing about this. Announcing the extension of the plan, BSNL Chairman and Managing Director A. Robert J. Ravi said, “BSNL has recently established a state-of-the-art 4G mobile network across the country under the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative, which is furthering the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. The Freedom Plan—which has no service charge for the first 30 days—gives customers a great opportunity to experience our indigenously developed 4G network. We believe that the quality of service, coverage and trust in the BSNL brand will encourage customers to stay with us even after this initial period.”

How to get the Freedom Plan
Visit your nearest BSNL Customer Service Center (CSC) (carry valid KYC documents with you). Request Freedom Plan (1 Rupee activation), complete KYC and get your free SIM.
