Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar met the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, in Thimpu. In a social media post, the Election Commission of India said that the meeting reflects the deep and enduring friendship and democratic cooperation between India and Bhutan. Mr Kumar, who is on a three-day visit to Bhutan, will attend Bhutan’s National Voters Day, to be observed tomorrow.
