Dia Mirza In Anavila’s Ivory-Gold Saree Proves Linen Is Back In Focus

Dia Mirza certainly knows how to make an appearance that leaves us gagging. She recently kept things quiet and considered for the Netflix India slate event, wearing an ivory-and-gold handwoven linen sari by Anavila. The sari features fine gold stripes running across a natural linen base, finished with a slim zari border and a soft lace edge that adds detail without breaking the flow.

At the event, Mirza styled her saree with a sleeveless gold blouse and an easy, unforced drape. Nothing was overworked. The fabric, light-catching but matte, carried the look. As per the brand’s website, the saree costs INR 28,000, with a blouse that can be purchased separately from the website.

Dia Mirza also kept her jewellery classic and close to the body: a short diamond necklace worn high on the neck, traditional jhumkas, and a single bracelet. All of the pieces, which were from the brand Tribe By Amrapali, complemented her ensemble, and she looked as radiant as always.

On the makeup front, she kept it simple and elegant. Her skin was left fresh with a warm glow, eyes softly defined with kohl, lashes kept natural, and lips finished in a muted rose tone. A small black bindi brought the look together. Her hair was side-parted and worn long over one shoulder, keeping the overall look warm and sober.

She shared her look on Instagram, with this caption: “For the #NextOnNetflix announcement yesterday, I chose to wear @anavila_m — a conscious celebration of the quiet strength, integrity and inner resolve that both Kamal in Operation Safed Sagar and Avantika in Ikka embody.

Stories that challenge you. Characters that stay with you. Grateful to be a part of narratives that ask something deeper of us. 🤍 More about this and the amazing people I had the privilege of working with on these stories later!”

The appearance also marked Dia Mirza’s growing association with Netflix. At the event, she announced her involvement in two upcoming Netflix India originals, including Ikka, a Hindi action-thriller slated for release in 2026, and Operation Safed Sagar, which has been inspired by true events and based on a lesser-known chapter of the Kargil War.
