Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi convened a meeting with senior officials of the Department of School Education and Literacy in New Delhi today to discuss issues pertaining to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In a social media post, Mr Joshi said that the meeting reviewed key priorities for strengthening CBSE’s academic, examination and administrative processes, with a focus on greater efficiency, transparency and improved support for students and teachers.
Mr Joshi also virtually held a meeting with University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education officials in New Delhi. The meeting was held to discuss the evolving priorities of higher education and the way forward for strengthening our academic institutions. He noted that the discussion also covered Khelo Bharat, with a focus on promoting sports in educational institutions, encouraging wider student participation and nurturing sporting talent among youths.
