The joint military exercise Harimau Shakti 2025 between India and Malaysia is underway at the Mahajan Field Firing Range in Rajasthan and will continue until December 18. According to the Indian Army, troops from both sides are conducting intensive joint training to enhance interoperability and operational readiness.
Key activities include counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism drills, joint patrolling, ambush techniques, heliborne operations, and slithering from MI-17 helicopters. The exercise also features weapon and equipment displays, live firing practices, and physical training activities such as Army Martial Arts Routine and yoga.
