Jolly LLB 3 Review: Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have returned to the big screen as the beloved ‘Jollys’, but this time, the narrative dives into a pressing and emotional issue — farmers’ suicides and unlawful acquisition of their lands. At first glance, such a theme of the film might give you the impression that Subhash Kapoor’s directorial must be serious and hard-hitting. However, much to everyone’s surprise, the film strikes a perfect balance. It delivers top-notch entertainment while seamlessly weaving humour, drama and social commentary.
What Does Jolly LLB 3 Revolve Around?
Jolly LLB 3 begins with a legal showdown between two lawyers, both known as ‘Jolly’ — Jagdish Tyagi (played by Arshad Warsi) and Jagdishwar Mishra aka Jolly Mishra (essayed by Akshay Kumar). While they are always at loggerheads initially, their lives change when they meet Janaki – a farmer’s widow who is seeking justice and fighting a big real estate company against the illegal imposition of their land. Janaki’s fight for justice brings both Jollys together. With their reunion, the courtroom becomes a battleground for legal arguments, comedy and fighting for justice.
Akshay And Arshad Are Brilliant But Saurabh Shukla Steals The Show
What makes Jolly LLB 3 a wonderful film is its powerhouse cast. Akshay Kumar brings his trademark screen presence and charm and perfectly blends it with humour. His comic timing lights up the courtroom, yet he never lets you forget the seriousness of the issue. Arshad Warsi, on the other hand, is effortless as ever — his natural flair for sarcasm and witty one-liners make him worth watching. His chemistry with Akshay is also fun to watch and highly appreciable.
Seema Biswas does not have a lot of dialogue in the movie but her silence is very powerful. The depth and the intensity she brings with her eyes convey pain, resilience and strength. Gajraj Rao’s negative turn is one of the film’s biggest surprises. Known for his calm and composed roles, he slips into the skin of an antagonist with remarkable conviction. Ram Kapoor also portrays the role of a lawyer and plays his part with perfection. On the other hand, Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao get little screentime but play their parts with dedication.
