The little black dress has been done every way possible since the first time this wardrobe staple made its appearance. But Mira Rajput recently wore it recently, with a little colourful twist, might we add, and the result is worth a proper look.
Dressed in Saaksha & Kinni’s Zyra dress, Mira Rajput gives her LBD a colourful upgrade. She keeps the top half entirely in check and lets the bottom half do whatever it wants. From the waist up, her dress is all restraint, featuring a sleeveless, closed-neck fitted bodice in black Lycra, clean-lined and structured. From the hip down, though, the dress breaks into a floor-length tassel skirt made entirely of multi-print chiffon panels, each one a different pattern, a different colour register. Black-and-white graphic print sits next to red-and-blue abstract, which gives way to a chartreuse yellow print further along.
