In his first response to the brutal Pahalgam attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the entire country knows how “terrorists brutally killed innocent, and India stands with the family of victims”.
Speaking about the Pahalgam incident, PM Modi said: “Conspirators and terrorists, who committed this will get punishment beyond their imagination.”Sending a stern warning to the attackers, PM Modi further added: “India will identify, track and punish every terrorist, their handlers and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth.”
This message comes at a time when India has already exerted diplomatic pressure on Pakistan.
Doubling down on the attack by perpetrators, the Prime Minister said: “The willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the backbone of the masters of terror. The entire country is in shock over how the terrorists killed innocent civilians in Pahalgam. India is with those who have lost their loved ones in this attack. The government is trying its best to provide treatment to those who are injured.”While talking about tracking and identifying the terrorists involved in the attack, PM Modi made a switch from Hindi to English and said: “Will pursue them (Pahalgam attackers) to the end of earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism.”PM Modi also urged those attending the rally to observe two minutes of silence in memory of the victims, who lost their lives in the devastating Pahalgam attack.
