Sobhita Dhulipala has once again made a case for the enduring power of the sari, this time stepping out in a striking Sindhoori creation from Arpita Mehta’s Everlight collection. The vibrant coral-orange ensemble brings together traditional Indian craftsmanship and a distinctly modern sensibility, creating a look that feels celebratory without losing its effortless sophistication.
Dhulipala herself offered a playful explanation for the look, revealing the many inspirations behind the striking orange palette. Sharing the pictures on Instagram, she wrote: “Inspired by orange wala tang, inspired by that Pinterest photo of Mumtaz in the Mumtaz saree, inspired by the setting Sun, inspired by last night’s gaajar halwa in the fridge, inspired by sasuraal genda phool 🔸”, a caption as eclectic and irreverent as the colour itself.
