Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal held a meeting with the CEO of Check Point Software, Nadav Zafrir, in New Delhi yesterday. In a social media post, Mr Goyal said that during the meeting, they discussed the company’s growing engagement in India, including its research and development expansion and the use of AI-driven security to protect India’s digital public infrastructure.
They also explored advancing cooperation in cybersecurity, digital trust, and AI-led innovation to build a resilient digital ecosystem supporting India’s technology-driven growth.
The Union Minister also met the MD and CEO of Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited, Sundeep Sikka. They discussed opportunities to scale up and deepen retail investment, strengthen the asset management ecosystem, and expand avenues for attracting greater global capital into Indian markets.
