Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi today chaired a meeting in New Delhi with the ministry’s officials to review preparations for the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit 2026. The Summit is scheduled to be held from 2nd to 5th November at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital. In a social media post, the minister stated that country leaders, global industry leaders and State Chief Ministers will participate in this landmark gathering, making it one of India’s biggest Renewable Energy events. He urged all domestic and international pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital, private equity investors, and other stakeholders from across the renewable energy ecosystem to participate, and book spaces at the Summit. Mr Joshi also reviewed the readiness of key Renewable Energy sectors, including wind and transmission, and discussed the support required to further accelerate renewable energy projects across the country.
