A German diplomat has been found dead in his apartment located at the Diplomatic Enclave in Pakistan‘s Islamabad city, media reports said on Tuesday.
He was identified as Thomas Fielder.
He reportedly served as the Third Secretary at the German Embassy in Islamabad.
Embassy officials authorised staff to force entry into the apartment after repeated attempts to contact him failed.
They recovered the body of the diplomat in a deteriorated state.
The body of the diplomat was shifted to the hospital.The cause of the death is still not clear.
Police said they are investigating the case from all angles.
