Bangladesh: Multiple crude bombs explode at crossroads in Dhaka’s Jatrabari

In Bangladesh, multiple crude bombs have exploded at a crossroads in Dhaka’s Jatrabari, a day after similar blasts outside the local police station. A rickshaw puller has been injured in the latest incident. Three buses were set on fire in separate incidents in Dhaka last evening. The incidents came a day after a series of crude bomb explosions were reported in several parts of the capital following Friday prayers. Against the backdrop of the incidents, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has strengthened security across the city and police patrols and surveillance have also been increased.
