National Investigation Agency NIA today arrested four individuals in connection with their relation with terrorist organisation Jama’at Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). The agency today conducted raids in many places in West Bengal, including Purba Bardhaman, South 24 Parganas and South Dinajpur districts. NIA arrested Piar Mohammad Sheikh an imam from Purba Bardhaman, Jumman Sheikh a tailor, Sahrul Purkayet an app bike driver and Abdul Rafique from South 24 South Parganas district.
The investigation agency is searching for any link to the terrorist organisation JMB and Ansarullla Bangla Team. This raids have been conducted after some persons were arrested in Assam early this year. NIA today searched at Mundehar village of Banshihari of South Dinajpur district for Mujibar Rahman who is absconding.
