A woman has died in Pune due to Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), marking second death in Maharashtra. The city has registered highest number of cases of the outbreak with 127 people taken ill.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has reserved 40 hospital beds, including 10 with ventilators, for treatment of GBS cases.
