India Beat Pakistan by 7 Wickets in Women’s T20 Asia Cup Clash

In Women’s Cricket, India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the Women’s Asia Cup T20 match in Dubai. Pakistan were bowled out for just 55 in 18.1 overs, their lowest-ever total in T20 Internationals.

Young spinners Shree Charani and Prema Rawat took three wickets each, while Deepti Sharma claimed two. India chased down the target in 8.4 overs, with captain Harmanpreet Kaur remaining unbeaten on 18. The match also marked Harmanpreet’s 150th T20 International as India’s captain, making her the first international captain, male or female, to reach the milestone.

Pakistan started confidently at 27 without loss but lost six wickets for just nine runs as India’s spinners took complete control. Charani returned figures of three for seven, while Rawat took three for nine. India’s bowlers bowled 78 dot balls in Pakistan’s innings and never allowed the opposition to recover. India have now won seven of the eight T20 Asia Cup meetings against Pakistan.
