The Israel Defense Forces has announced that it has conducted strikes on 40 sites used by Palestinian armed group Hamas across the Gaza Strip. The Israeli airstrikes targeted Hamas’ command and control centres, as well as gathering points used by Hamas. The strikes resulted in the killing of dozens of militants operating from these locations. In a social media post, IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee urged residents of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza to evacuate immediately to the humanitarian zone, as rockets are being fired from the area.
