The BoF (Business of Fashion) Gala was held in Mumbai last night. The event was a star-studded affair, with A-listers attending in their finest attire. Among them was Sonam Kapoor, who turned heads in a yellow archival gown by George Stavropolou.
Paparazzi videos from the event show Sonam Kapoor channelling her inner diva as she posed for the cameras at the BoF Gala. She was a vision to behold in a yellow chiffon gown that resembled a saree. She posed for the cameras and was even seen chatting on the red carpet with the media. For the BoF Gala, Sonam was styled by her sister – Rhea Kapoor.
The sisters have often given us some memorable fashion looks and this latest look was yet another addition. Sonam wore a vintage 1970s chiffon gown by George Stavropolou. The drapes and the flowing silhouette made the gown resemble a saree. The look was all about elegance, grace, and old-school glamour. The gown came with a round neckline, full-length sheer gigot sleeves with cinched cuffs, a draped design, a floor-sweeping hem length, and a pallu-style drape. The drape was placed on her shoulder and it cascaded to her back.
For the accessories, Sonam went with diamond bracelets, statement gold ear cuffs, gold rings, and a choker necklace that was adorned with diamonds, Polki work, and beaded embellishments. She paired the gown with a simple gold clutch. The actor left her hair open and styled it in a centre partition. She went with a berry shade on her lips which added some bold colour to her look. She added a muted brown eyeshadow to her eyelids, mascara on her eyelashes, black eyeliner, and a generous helping of highlighter to add some sheen to her look.
