The White House has defended US President Donald Trump’s views on the H-1B visas, saying that he has a nuanced and common-sense opinion on this issue. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, President Trump would allow importing foreign workers just at the beginning, but ultimately be replaced by American workers.
President Trump supports limited, short-term use of foreign skilled workers when companies invest heavily in US manufacturing.
