Bihar Assembly Elections 2025: Final Phase Voting Underway for 122 Seats Across 20 Districts

The second and final phase of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections will be held on Tuesday. Voting will take place in 122 constituencies across 20 districts. This final phase will play a decisive role in the formation of the next state government and will conclude weeks of intense campaigning.

A total of 1,302 candidates are in the fray in this phase.

Nearly 37 million voters, including 19.5 million men and 17.4 million women, are eligible to vote at 45,399 polling stations, the highest number of polling stations ever set up for any election phase in the state.

Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Vinod Singh Gunjyal informed that the first phase of Bihar Assembly elections was conducted peacefully on November 6, 2025, with a record voter turnout of 64.66 per cent, the highest in the electoral history of the state.

In the first phase, polling was held in 121 assembly constituencies spread across 18 districts of the state.

In the first phase, voting took place in 121 assembly constituencies across 18 districts. A total of 37,513,302 voters participated, including 19,835,325 men, 17,677,219 women, and 758 third-gender voters. Counting of votes for all constituencies will take place on November 14.
