207 cadets commissioned as Army officers at Officers Training Academy in Bihar

The Indian Army commissioned 207 cadets including 23 women as officers at the Officers Training Academy in Gaya Ji in Bihar today.

The passing out parade saw the newly commissioned officers demonstrating their impressive combating skills before their parents and superior officers.

Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, Commander of the Central Command of the Indian Army, reviewed the parade and addressed the cadets.

A Gaurav Medal felicitation ceremony was also held, in which the parents who dedicated their sons and daughters to the service of the nation were honoured.  

The number of women cadets commissioned have increased to 23 this year from 18 last year.
