Additional Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Satish S. Khandare, conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation and troop deployment along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, officials confirmed on Friday.
During his visit, ADG Khandare engaged in detailed discussions with field commanders, focusing on key operational aspects to enhance border security. He also interacted with BSF personnel stationed in the area, commending their efforts and emphasizing the importance of maintaining vigilance.
The visit by the senior BSF officer comes as part of heightened security measures ahead of Republic Day celebrations across the union territory.
