Diljit Dosanjh made his debut on the MET Gala carpet looking sharp in a Prabal Gurung creation. Keeping up with this signature line ‘Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye’, Diljit immersed himself fully into the MET Gala festivities in a traditional Indian attire.
Exuding desi dandyism, the ensemble saw Diljit adorn an ivory sherwani paired with an embroidered cape. Celebrating his Punjabi roots in his first ever MET Gala appearance, Diljit made a royal statement on the MET Gala carpet.Styled by Abhilasha Devnani, the ensemble was further enhanced with layered jewellery pieces accentuated with rubies and emeralds. Celebrating fashion’s biggest night on the iconic MET stairs Diljit’s blue carpet look featured his bejewelled turban and a talwar (sword).
