Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday interacted with NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Rashtriya Rangshala camp artists, tribal guests and tableaux artists who will participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26.
During the interaction, NCC cadets sang songs like “Padharo Mare Desh” and “Saare Jahan Se Accha” for the prime minister.PM Modi also watched the cultural and dance performances of the participants. The prime minister was seen applauding the participants as they showcased their talent.

India is gearing up to celebrate its 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, with all pomp and show and mark it as an achievement of a major milestone since the first Republic Day which was celebrated in 1950.
To attend the ceremonial event, 10,000 special guests have been invited from the entire country who will sit on the two sides of the Kartavya Path and witness the Republic Day parade which will span from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate.
The parade will showcase contingents from the Indian Armed Forces and paramilitary forces. In all, 18 marching contingents, 15 Bands and 31 tableaux are expected to take part in the parade.
The tableaux from 15 states and union territories will cover Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.
Nearly 300 cultural artists will display their talent in the parade. For the first time, 5000 folk and tribal artists will perform on the entire stretch of Kartavya Path. More than 45 tribal and folk arts, including Indonesian art, will also be showcased.
The Republic Day parade will start on January 26 at 10:30 am. In total, 7,70,00 people have been given passes and tickets out of which 32,000 are ticket holders and 10,000 are special invitees.
