Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy held a high-level meeting with Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef in New Delhi. In a statement, the ministry said that the meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation in the critical minerals sector and exploring new avenues for investment and technological collaboration.
It said that both leaders emphasised the need to establish reliable and secure mineral supply chains to reduce dependency on imports. The ministry said that discussions also explored cooperation in adopting advanced mining technologies and innovation for sustainable mineral exploration and extraction.
