Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah interacted with Border Security Force-BSF personnel in Raipur on the second day of his two-day visit to Chhattisgarh.
Earlier, the Union Home Minister met the family of Additional Superintendent of Police Akash Rao Giripunje, martyred in the IED blast triggered by Maoists. He expressed deep condolences to the family and consoled them. He said that the government is committed to provide all possible assistance to the families of the martyrs.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and State Home Minister Vijay Sharma were also present on the occasion.
